PFA lined carbon steel Instrument Tees to ASME B16.5

One of the few wafer fittings in a pipeline system, instrument tees provide the functionality of a flanged equal or reducing tee, but with reduced bulk. Their primary use is for the insertion of instrumentation into the flow stream or used in conjunction with valves as drains for pipelines.

Instrument tees are not included in ASME B16.5, so the dimensions below are specific to CRP. The centerline to face dimension of the branch is to ASME B16.5 for the nominal bore of the body but the body face to face is determined by the diameter of the branch nominal bore. The body diameter is sized to fit neatly inside the inner bolt circle of the mating flanges.

The dimensions below are to suit ASME B16.5 flanges.

*As standard these items are supplied with a reduced bore in the branch to allow the branch to fit between the line bolts, please contact our sales office for details.

Instrument tees are a wafer style offering considerable space savings over traditional tees. We supply cast steel bodies for most of the common sizes and fabrications for specials and tees with rotating flanges. We also supply double branch instrument tees / crosses.
