Double Branch Instrument Tees

Whether you know them as branch instrument tees or instrument crosses, they are a great way of introducing two instruments into a pipeline, and they allow for the mixture of process fluids within a very confined space envelope.

Flexible supply

We can supply them with branches perpendicular to each other if required, however the CRP standard double branch tee has the branches set at 180 degrees.

The centerline to face dimension of the branch is to ASME B16.5 for the nominal bore of the body but the body face to face is determined by the diameter of the branch nominal bore. The body diameter is sized to fit neatly inside the inner bolt circle of the mating flanges.

The dimensions below are to suit ASME B16.5 flanges.

It is not possible to bolt up the tee in the line and include all the bolts on some sizes. For these sizes we reduce the bore of the branch pipe so that all bolts can be installed, we then have the branch connection with a blank flange bored to suit the smaller pipe.
