MACH 1 Plug Valve ASME 150
The next generation of plug valve from Durco.
The Mach 1 plug valve has upgraded the traditional PTFE sleeve used in the G4 series, replacing it with two PFA encapsulated taper seats. It has a number of unique features which allow it to outperform similar plug valves.
Features of the Mach 1 Plug Valve ASME 150:
- Lower turning torque resulting in educed actuation costs
- High working temperature performance (up to 274° C)
- Easy seat replacement with minimal tools
- ISO 5211 actuator mounting pad
As with all Durco plug valves, the plug can be reseated whilst the valve stays inline. A live loaded reverse lip PFA diaphragm provides secondary stem sealing to keep emissions minimal.
The Mach 1 valve is available in a range of different alloys, from carbon steel up to Zirconium, Hastelloy and others to suit the process.
The Mach 1 is available in sizes 1”NB up to 6”NB in class 150, class 300 and class 600 (derated) designs.
